Management team
Benjamin Boyd, P.Eng.
Founder | Principal Engineer
Benjamin has led electrical design since founding BALODEV in 2017, across oil and gas, mining, CNG, manufacturing and power generation. He handles power distribution, hazardous locations, arc flash studies, and engineering sign-off, and is registered in British Columbia and Alberta.
Nicole Schurink, BSc
Project Manager | Electrical & Mechatronics Design Lead
Nicole leads design and drafting projects, from electrical schematics and 3D panel layouts to cable routing and PLC/HMI programming. Trained in mechatronics with a BSc in physics, she brings both mechanical and electrical design experience to automation projects.
